"Seven months in at Lumen, and great experience so far! The building is always clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully managed. The staff are excellent- everyone is professional, friendly, and responsive, which really makes a difference. I also want to give a special shoutout to George from management, who has been especially helpful! He helped me answer questions about the amenities (which are amazing) and moving furniture, in a very timely and comprehensive manner. Lumen is a relatively new and large building, so there are naturally many residents to take care of, but the management team still manages to be attentive and thoughtful, which makes living here feel special. One of my favorite parts of living here has been watching the city change through the windows. The views are stunning year-round, and every day brings a slightly different skyline, which makes each day feel special :)"

"Lumen is a beautiful building with great amenities - common room, billiards, gym! Love the in unit washer and dryer, the views of manhattan and the high ceilings. It felt very secure and safe. The subways stops for E/ N/ 7 etc are pretty close by. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around as well - all your Target, Starbucks, Solid Core, Naya, Hey Tea, Dunkin, etc."

"We love living at Lumen LIC! From the location, to the wonderful management and staff, to the beautiful building spaces and incredible amenities, life here is very appealing and comfortable. The building boasts high-end design and finishes in both the public and private spaces. Our apartment is well thought-out for the most part, with very little wasted space. The kitchen is beautiful, functional, and spacious. The bathrooms are large, with excellent lighting and generous cabinet space. Bedrooms are spacious and fit much furniture comfortably. The living room/dining space is not huge, but a wall of large windows and high ceilings, along with the open-plan kitchen with pass-through, make the space feel roomy. Living here feels luxurious, with many, wonderful amenities. Working out in the light-filled, very spacious gym is great, with many different machines and equipment for exercising. There are two dance studios, and also another gym space with a sled, boxing bag, and more. My favorite feature is the extensive spa area, with a lovely, light-filled pool area that also offers a sizeable hot tub and a large, Swedish sauna, as well as many lounge chairs and nice landscaping. The Lumen has a number of lounges, three with spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. The interior design in each of these spaces is very attractive, and all of the spaces are comfortable. The lobby itself is a great place to relax, with soaring ceilings and cozy furniture. A co-working lounge has three conference rooms, as well as individual work spaces. The building also has storage facilities, bike storage, and more. The people who work at Lumen LIC are very friendly and helpful, from management and leasing agents, to the front desk team, to the porters and maintenance staff. The wonderful Lumen team members make the building feel like home. Michael, the Community Manager, organizes regular events for the community that are creative, beautifully executed, and very enjoyable. He just hosted Spring Fling, which offered not only delicious desserts and drinks, but also the opportunity to design your own bouquet. These events are great fun and also a nice way to meet other neighbors. Finally, living between the Court Square and Queensboro Plaza/Queens Plaza transportation hubs mean that it is quick and easy to get just about anywhere via multiple subway and/or bus lines. And the LIC waterfront is a short walk away. Love Lumen LIC!"

"Moved in recently with my girlfriend and couldn’t be happier. George from the management team made my move-in as smooth as possible and put in the extra effort to make sure we had all the info to settle in comfortably. Highly recommend working with him, and don’t sleep on the queens view yall!"

"Finally moved into my new apartment at Lumen today! The building is so gorgeous. They’re still completing the upper floors and some amenities, but I’m very happy to have moved into such a wonderful building. The staff is truly fantastic team and makes you feel right at home. A special thanks to the building manager, Michael, Scott and to Gershon Lewis at the front desk, who made my move-in today feel so easy. good job. Thank you all!!"
